Try Balanced Beings - a group medical visits program led by Kate Lemons, PA-C.
This weekly group visit meets on Wednesday afternoons. Each session includes 20 minutes of mindfulness based movement, 20 minutes of education on healthy living, and 20 minutes of open conversation and questions. The goal of the group is to establish a community for sustainable health changes.
Together, we will explore nutrient dense nutrition, joyful movement, sleep optimization, and incorporating mindfulness into everyday life!
For: Adults 18+ English speaking
Time: 2pm - 4pm
Day: Wednesday Afternoons
Where: Online using Google Meet
Group members will be required to use video as well as audio technology, have a stable internet connection and a private place from which to participate.
A screening appointment with group leaders is required. Referrals should be made via your provider.
Basic expectations for all group members:
- Keep the group a safe and confidential space
- Be on time or let the team know if you will be absent/late
- Be respectful of each other
- Be able to speak the language of the group
- Apply the learned knowledge to your life
Note: group visits are medical visits that are billed to your insurance. Some insurances may require a co-pay for these visits. Please check with your insurance if you have any questions.
